Brant Broughton Church of England & Methodist Primary School News
Coming up on the 7th December is the 25th anniversary of the opening of the school on this site. We would like to celebrate this Silver Jubilee and I would like parents and families to help. Have you got any photos of the school, children or teachers from past years? Have you got any memorable stories which we could include in a book about the school. Have you got any ideas for fun activities or events we could put on to mark the occasion? If so I would love to hear from you.
Along with our after school club BBASE we can now offer parents wrap around child
care facilities as from September we launched our new Breakfast Club which is proving
popular and steadily growing. Parents can drop their children in from 7.45 am. The
club costs just £2.50 per session with breakfast or £1.50 without breakfast. We
provide the children with a delicious, healthy breakfast in a fun, sociable and safe
environment. Children can look out for the weekly special breakfasts, films and
fun activities. We can accept childcare vouchers and are currently looking into
the possibility of accepting some pre-

Welcome to Brant Broughton Church of England and Methodist Primary School, a unique school within the village of Brant Broughton combining two historical traditions of Education, the Church of England Aided Junior School on the High Street and the Methodist Infant school, right next to the school on Mill Lane. This joint faith tradition is reflected in the Governing Body’s appointment of foundation Governors, who underpin the Christian Ethos of our School, by taking School Assemblies, providing time for reflection and monitoring provision for Religious Education and Personal, Social and Health Education. In addition the Bishop of Lincoln has appointed a visitor for the school and the Methodist Church a formal education Secretary, both these appointments contribute to the Section 48 Inspection, which all Church schools are subject to in addition to an Ofsted Inspection.
In this school, Every Child Matters, all members of staff are committed to ensuring
the safety, well being and progress of each individual. We are totally committed
to Partnership with Parents and the community, which the school serves.
Our School
operates an open door Policy, you are welcome to visit at any time and we will always
do our best to listen and act on your concerns.
